- ½ cup old-fashion rolled oats (gluten-free if needed)
- 1 large egg
- ½ large over-ripe banana
- 3 tbsp almond milk or oat milk
- ½ tsp vanilla extract
- ¼ tsp baking powder
- ¾ tsp ground cinnamon
- 1 tbsp honey or maple syrup (optional)
- 1 tbsp peanut butter or 1 tbsp almond butter (optional)
- 2 tbsp chocolate chips (optional)
- 2 tbsp blueberries (optional)
- Extra banana slices on top (optional)
- 2 tbsp rainbow sprinkles (optional)
- 2 tbsp unsweetened shredded coconut (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat your air fryer to 290°F (143°C) and grease a single-serve ramekin or baking dish.
- In a high-speed blender, combine all the base ingredients (excluding mix-ins) and blend on high for 20–30 seconds until fully mixed.
- If desired, stir in nut butter for a creamier texture.
- Add your preferred mix-ins such as chocolate chips or blueberries.
- Pour the mixture into the greased ramekin. Sprinkle extra chocolate chips or mix-ins on top, if desired.
- Air fry at 290°F for 12-15 minutes, checking at the 7-minute mark, covering lightly with aluminum foil if browning too quickly.
- Ensure oats are cooked through and slightly browned on top—serve warm and enjoy!
Notes
Store uneaten portions in an airtight container for 2-3 days in the refrigerator or freeze for up to 2 months.
