- 2 tablespoons brown sugar (optional)

- Pinch of salt
Instructions
- In a saucepan, bring water or milk to a boil.
- Add rolled oats and a pinch of salt, reduce heat to low.
- In a separate skillet, melt the butter over medium heat.
- Add diced apples and cinnamon, and sauté until apples are tender (about 5 minutes).
- Stir the apple mixture into the oats along with brown sugar if desired.
- Cook for another 5 minutes, stirring frequently, until it reaches your desired creaminess.
- Serve warm and enjoy!
