- 1 cup butter, softened
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/2 teaspoon butter extract
- 3 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup butterscotch chips
- 1 cup white chocolate chips
- Optional: 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon

Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large bowl, cream together the softened butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until smooth.
- Beat in the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each. Stir in the vanilla and butter extracts.
- In a separate bowl, combine the flour, baking soda, and salt. Gradually blend this dry mixture into the creamed mixture until just combined.
- Fold in the butterscotch and white chocolate chips until evenly distributed.
- Drop rounded portions of dough onto ungreased baking sheets, spacing them two inches apart.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes, until the edges are light golden brown and centers are soft.
- Cool on baking sheets for a few minutes before transferring to wire racks to cool completely.
Notes
For chewy cookies, slightly underbake them. Store cookies in an airtight container for up to 3 days at room temperature or freeze them for up to 3 months.
