Description

A delightful Cajun shrimp and salmon dish with a rich garlic cream sauce, perfect for gatherings and quick family dinners.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 pound shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 1 pound salmon fillets
  • 2 tablespoons Cajun seasoning
  • 4 tablespoons butter
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup Parmesan cheese, grated
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Season the shrimp and salmon with Cajun seasoning.
  2. In a large skillet, melt 2 tablespoons of butter over medium heat.
  3. Add the shrimp and cook for 2-3 minutes on each side until pink and cooked through. Remove and set aside.
  4. In the same skillet, melt the remaining butter and add the garlic; sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant.
  5. Pour in the heavy cream and bring to a simmer.
  6. Stir in the Parmesan cheese until melted and smooth.
  7. Return the shrimp to the skillet and add the salmon, cooking until everything is heated through.
  8. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  9. Serve hot, garnished with fresh parsley.

Notes

Avoid overcooking the shrimp; they should be opaque and pink. You can adjust the Cajun seasoning for your preferred spice level.
