Description

Delicious bars featuring a graham cracker crust, cream cheese layer with apples, and a swirl of caramel, perfect for fall desserts.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 1/2 cups graham cracker crumbs
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 2 cups cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 cups chopped apples (such as Granny Smith)
  • 1 cup caramel sauce
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
  2. In a bowl, mix the graham cracker crumbs and melted butter. Press this mixture into the bottom of the prepared baking dish to form a crust.
  3. In a separate bowl, beat the cream cheese and sugar until smooth. Add the eggs, one at a time, mixing well after each. Stir in the vanilla extract.
  4. Fold in the chopped apples and cinnamon. Pour the cheesecake mixture over the crust.
  5. Drizzle caramel sauce over the top and swirl it in with a knife.
  6. Bake for 30–35 minutes until the center is mostly set but still slightly jiggly.
  7. Allow to cool completely, then refrigerate for at least 2 hours before cutting into bars.

Notes

Avoid overmixing the cream cheese and eggs to prevent cracks. For clean slices, chill thoroughly and use a hot knife.
