Description

Deliciously Creamy Caramel Apple Cheesecake Bars combined with a buttery graham cracker crust and topped with a swirl of caramel.


Ingredients

  • 1 ½ cups graham cracker crumbs
  • 1/3 cup sugar
  • ½ cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 4 packages (8 oz each) cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 4 large eggs
  • 2 cups peeled and diced apples
  • ½ cup caramel sauce
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 325°F (160°C).
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine graham cracker crumbs, 1/3 cup sugar, and melted butter until well mixed. Press this mixture evenly into the bottom of a greased 9×13-inch baking pan.
  3. In a large bowl, beat cream cheese, 1 cup sugar, and vanilla extract together until smooth and creamy.
  4. Add eggs one at a time, mixing on low speed until just combined.
  5. Gently fold in the diced apples and ground cinnamon. Pour the cheesecake mixture over the crust.
  6. Drizzle caramel sauce over the top and use a knife to swirl it gently into the cheesecake.
  7. Bake for 45-50 minutes, until the edges are set, and the center is still slightly jiggly.
  8. Allow to cool at room temperature before refrigerating for at least 4 hours. Cut into bars and serve.

Notes

For a creamier cheesecake, allow the cream cheese to soften completely at room temperature before mixing. Avoid overmixing once the eggs are added to maintain a smooth texture.
