Description
Deliciously Creamy Caramel Apple Cheesecake Bars combined with a buttery graham cracker crust and topped with a swirl of caramel.
Ingredients
Scale
- 1 ½ cups graham cracker crumbs
- 1/3 cup sugar
- ½ cup unsalted butter, melted
- 4 packages (8 oz each) cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 4 large eggs
- 2 cups peeled and diced apples
- ½ cup caramel sauce
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 325°F (160°C).
- In a mixing bowl, combine graham cracker crumbs, 1/3 cup sugar, and melted butter until well mixed. Press this mixture evenly into the bottom of a greased 9×13-inch baking pan.
- In a large bowl, beat cream cheese, 1 cup sugar, and vanilla extract together until smooth and creamy.
- Add eggs one at a time, mixing on low speed until just combined.
- Gently fold in the diced apples and ground cinnamon. Pour the cheesecake mixture over the crust.
- Drizzle caramel sauce over the top and use a knife to swirl it gently into the cheesecake.
- Bake for 45-50 minutes, until the edges are set, and the center is still slightly jiggly.
- Allow to cool at room temperature before refrigerating for at least 4 hours. Cut into bars and serve.
Notes
For a creamier cheesecake, allow the cream cheese to soften completely at room temperature before mixing. Avoid overmixing once the eggs are added to maintain a smooth texture.
