  • 1 tsp lime juice
  • Oil for frying
  • Salt and pepper, to taste

Instructions

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine cream cheese, chopped shrimp, crab meat, queso cheese, green onions, garlic powder, lime juice, salt, and pepper until well blended.
  2. Heat the corn tortillas in a dry skillet over medium heat until they become pliable, being careful not to overcook.
  3. Place a few tablespoons of the filling in the center of each tortilla and roll them tightly.
  4. Heat oil in a frying pan over medium heat, ensuring there is enough to submerge the taquitos when added.
  5. Fry the taquitos seam side down until golden and crispy, cooking for about 2-3 minutes per side.
  6. Remove from oil and drain on paper towels.
  7. Serve warm, accompanied by salsa or sour cream for an extra flavor burst.
