Description
A decadent dish featuring succulent chicken breasts, tender bowtie pasta, and a rich, creamy cheese sauce.
Ingredients
Scale
- 2 chicken breasts
- 8 oz bowtie pasta
- 1/4 cup butter
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Chopped parsley for garnish
Instructions
- In a large pot, bring salted water to a boil. Add the bowtie pasta and cook according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
- In a large skillet, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant.
- Season the chicken breasts with salt and pepper and add them to the skillet. Cook for approximately 6-7 minutes on each side or until cooked through.
- Remove the chicken from the skillet, let it rest for a few minutes, and then slice it into strips.
- In the same skillet, lower the heat and pour in the heavy cream, bringing it to a gentle simmer.
- Gradually stir in the mozzarella and Parmesan cheeses, allowing them to melt into a creamy sauce.
- Toss the cooked bowtie pasta into the sauce, ensuring it’s well-coated. Add the sliced chicken on top.
- Gently mix everything together and let it cook for an additional 2-3 minutes until warmed through.
- Transfer to serving plates, garnishing with chopped parsley, and serve hot.
Notes
Serve warm. Pairs well with a light salad, crusty bread, or a glass of white wine.
