Ingredients

  • 2 chicken breasts
  • 8 oz bowtie pasta
  • 1/4 cup butter
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Chopped parsley for garnish

Instructions

  1. In a large pot, bring salted water to a boil. Add the bowtie pasta and cook according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  2. In a large skillet, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant.
  3. Season the chicken breasts with salt and pepper and add them to the skillet. Cook for approximately 6-7 minutes on each side or until cooked through.
  4. Remove the chicken from the skillet, let it rest for a few minutes, and then slice it into strips.
  5. In the same skillet, lower the heat and pour in the heavy cream, bringing it to a gentle simmer.
  6. Gradually stir in the mozzarella and Parmesan cheeses, allowing them to melt into a creamy sauce.
  7. Toss the cooked bowtie pasta into the sauce, ensuring it’s well-coated. Add the sliced chicken on top.
  8. Gently mix everything together and let it cook for an additional 2-3 minutes until warmed through.
  9. Transfer to serving plates, garnishing with chopped parsley, and serve hot.
