Description

A quick and nutritious stir-fry featuring juicy chicken, fresh broccoli, and earthy mushrooms served over fluffy steamed rice.


Ingredients

  • 1 lb chicken breast, sliced thinly
  • 2 cups broccoli florets
  • 1 cup mushrooms, sliced
  • 3 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon ginger, minced
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • 4 cups steamed rice

Instructions

  1. Heat vegetable oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat.
  2. Add minced garlic and ginger to the pan, sautéing for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
  3. Add the sliced chicken to the pan. Stir-fry for about 5-7 minutes until the chicken is browned and cooked through.
  4. Toss in the broccoli florets and sliced mushrooms. Stir-fry for another 3-5 minutes until the vegetables are tender yet crisp.
  5. Pour in the soy sauce, and season with salt and pepper to taste. Mix everything thoroughly to coat the ingredients in the sauce.
  6. Serve the stir-fry over a bed of steamed rice for a wholesome meal.

Notes

For added flavor, garnish with chopped green onions and sesame seeds. This dish can be customized with your favorite vegetables or sauces.
