- 1 lb chicken breast, sliced thinly
- 2 cups broccoli florets
- 1 cup mushrooms, sliced
- 3 tablespoons soy sauce
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon ginger, minced
- 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- 4 cups steamed rice
Instructions
- Heat vegetable oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat.
- Add minced garlic and ginger to the pan, sautéing for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
- Add the sliced chicken to the pan. Stir-fry for about 5-7 minutes until the chicken is browned and cooked through.
- Toss in the broccoli florets and sliced mushrooms. Stir-fry for another 3-5 minutes until the vegetables are tender yet crisp.
- Pour in the soy sauce, and season with salt and pepper to taste. Mix everything thoroughly to coat the ingredients in the sauce.
- Serve the stir-fry over a bed of steamed rice for a wholesome meal.
Notes
For added flavor, garnish with chopped green onions and sesame seeds. This dish can be customized with your favorite vegetables or sauces.
