Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×13-inch baking pan.
  2. In a large bowl, mix the melted butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar.
  3. Add the eggs and vanilla extract, and mix until well combined.
  4. In another bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, cinnamon, and salt.
  5. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, stirring until just combined.
  6. Pour the batter into the prepared baking pan and spread evenly.
  7. In a small bowl, combine the granulated sugar and cinnamon for the topping, then sprinkle over the batter.
  8. Bake for 20–25 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
  9. Let cool completely before cutting into squares.
