- 1 ½ C. Heavy whipping cream

- 8 oz. Cooked shrimp, cut into pieces
- 8 oz. Crab meat
- 1 tsp. Old Bay seasoning
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley (for garnish)

- Chopped herbs (like dill or basil)
Instructions
- Melt the butter in a saucepan over medium heat.
- Add the chopped celery and green onions to the saucepan, and sauté until they begin to soften (about 3-4 minutes).
- Stir in the flour and sauté for another minute, allowing it to cook slightly.
- Heat the milk in the microwave until warm and whisk into the saucepan until all lumps disappear.
- Mix in the heavy whipping cream, tomato paste, Old Bay seasoning, salt, and pepper to taste.
- Bring to a low simmer, stirring frequently until the bisque thickens (approximately 10-15 minutes).
- Gently fold in the shrimp and crab meat, cooking until heated through.
- Serve topped with fresh parsley for a touch of color and freshness.
Notes
To enhance flavors, consider adding a splash of sherry or wine during the simmering process. The bisque can be refrigerated for up to 3 days or frozen for up to 3 months.
