- 8 oz pasta (fettuccine or penne)
- 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts, sliced
- 2 tbsp Cajun seasoning
- 4 tbsp butter
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Chopped parsley for garnish
Instructions
- Cook the pasta according to package instructions; drain and set aside.
- In a skillet, melt 2 tablespoons of butter over medium heat. Add the sliced chicken and sprinkle with Cajun seasoning. Cook until the chicken is browned and cooked through, about 6-8 minutes.
- Remove the chicken from the skillet and set aside. In the same skillet, melt the remaining butter and sauté the minced garlic until fragrant, about 30 seconds.
- Pour in the heavy cream and bring to a simmer. Stir in the Parmesan cheese until melted and creamy; season with salt and pepper.
- Add the cooked pasta and chicken back to the skillet, tossing everything to combine and heat through, about 2-3 minutes.
- Serve hot, garnished with chopped parsley.
Notes
For best results, ensure your pasta is cooked al dente. You can substitute heavy cream for half and half or plant-based alternatives for a lighter version.
