Description

A rich, creamy dish combining tender chicken, vibrant broccoli, and al dente penne pasta in a luscious cream sauce perfect for comforting meals.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 8 oz penne pasta
  • 1 lb chicken breast, diced
  • 2 cups broccoli florets
  • 2 cups heavy cream
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Red pepper flakes (optional)

Instructions

  1. Cook the penne pasta according to package instructions; drain and set aside.
  2. In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add garlic and sauté until fragrant (about 1 minute).
  3. Add the diced chicken to the skillet and cook until browned and cooked through, approximately 5-7 minutes.
  4. Stir in the broccoli and cook until tender, about 5 minutes.
  5. Pour in the heavy cream and bring to a simmer. Stir in the Parmesan cheese until melted and smooth.
  6. Combine the cooked penne with the creamy chicken and broccoli mixture. Season with salt, pepper, and red pepper flakes if desired.
  7. Serve hot, garnished with more grated Parmesan if you like.

Notes

For extra flavor, consider cooking the penne in chicken broth instead of water. Best enjoyed fresh but can be stored in the fridge for up to 3 days.
