Description

A comforting creamy chicken pasta dish with spinach and crispy turkey bacon.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 8 oz pasta (fettuccine or penne)
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 lb chicken breast, diced
  • 4 slices turkey bacon, chopped
  • 2 cups fresh spinach
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Cook pasta according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  2. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add the turkey bacon and cook until crispy, about 5-7 minutes.
  3. Add diced chicken to the skillet and cook until no longer pink, around 6-8 minutes.
  4. Stir in minced garlic and cook for another minute, stirring frequently to prevent burning.
  5. Add the fresh spinach to the skillet and cook until wilted, about 2-3 minutes.
  6. Pour in the heavy cream and bring to a gentle simmer, stirring well.
  7. Gradually stir in parmesan cheese until melted and luscious.
  8. Season with salt and pepper according to your taste preferences.
  9. Add the cooked pasta to the skillet and toss everything together until well combined.
  10. Serve warm, garnished with extra Parmesan if desired.

Notes

For a lighter version, swap heavy cream for half-and-half or Greek yogurt. Consider adding a splash of lemon juice for brightness.
