Description

A comforting dish featuring tender steak bites in a garlicky cream sauce served with shell pasta.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 12 oz shell pasta
  • 1 lb steak (such as sirloin or flank, cut into bite-sized pieces)
  • 4 cloves garlic (minced)
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup Parmesan cheese (grated)
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • Salt and pepper (to taste)
  • Fresh parsley (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. In a large pot, boil salted water and cook shell pasta according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  2. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat. Add the steak bites, seasoning with salt and pepper. Cook until browned and cooked to your liking, about 3-4 minutes for medium-rare. Remove the steak and set it aside.
  3. In the same pan, add minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute or until fragrant.
  4. Pour in the heavy cream and bring it to a simmer over medium heat. Stir in the grated Parmesan cheese until melted and creamy.
  5. Add the cooked pasta and the seared steak back into the pan, mixing until everything is well combined and heated through.
  6. Garnish with freshly chopped parsley and serve hot, ideally with additional grated Parmesan on the side.

Notes

Best served fresh, but can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
