Description
A comforting dish featuring tender steak bites in a garlicky cream sauce served with shell pasta.
Ingredients
Scale
- 12 oz shell pasta
- 1 lb steak (such as sirloin or flank, cut into bite-sized pieces)
- 4 cloves garlic (minced)
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup Parmesan cheese (grated)
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- Salt and pepper (to taste)
- Fresh parsley (for garnish)
Instructions
- In a large pot, boil salted water and cook shell pasta according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
- In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat. Add the steak bites, seasoning with salt and pepper. Cook until browned and cooked to your liking, about 3-4 minutes for medium-rare. Remove the steak and set it aside.
- In the same pan, add minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute or until fragrant.
- Pour in the heavy cream and bring it to a simmer over medium heat. Stir in the grated Parmesan cheese until melted and creamy.
- Add the cooked pasta and the seared steak back into the pan, mixing until everything is well combined and heated through.
- Garnish with freshly chopped parsley and serve hot, ideally with additional grated Parmesan on the side.
