- 4 chicken thighs
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 cup Parmesan cheese, grated
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
- In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat.
- Season chicken thighs with salt and pepper, and sear them for about 4–5 minutes on each side until golden brown.
- Add minced garlic to the skillet and sauté for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
- Pour in the heavy cream and stir in grated Parmesan cheese until the sauce is smooth. Adjust seasoning to taste.
- Place the seared chicken thighs into a baking dish and pour the creamy sauce over them.
- Bake for about 25–30 minutes or until the chicken reaches an internal temperature of 165°F (74°C).
- Garnish with fresh parsley, if desired, and serve.
Notes
For a lighter version, substitute heavy cream with low-fat milk and reduce the amount of Parmesan.
