- 1 pound chicken tenders
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 2 eggs
- 1 cup breadcrumbs (preferably panko)
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Oil for frying
Instructions
- In a medium bowl, mix the flour, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
- In another bowl, beat the eggs until smooth.
- In a third bowl, place the breadcrumbs.
- Dip each chicken tender first in the flour mixture, then in the eggs, and finally in the breadcrumbs, ensuring they are well coated.
- Heat oil in a frying pan over medium heat until hot but not smoking.
- Fry the chicken tenders for about 3-4 minutes on each side, or until golden brown and cooked through (internal temperature should reach 165°F).
- Remove and place on paper towels to drain excess oil.
- Serve hot with your choice of dipping sauce.
Notes
For an extra crunchy texture, consider mixing some cornmeal into the breadcrumb mixture.
