Perfectly crispy chicken tenders with a golden exterior and tender juicy meat, great for any occasion.


Ingredients

  • 1 pound chicken tenders
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs (preferably panko)
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Oil for frying

Instructions

  1. In a medium bowl, mix the flour, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
  2. In another bowl, beat the eggs until smooth.
  3. In a third bowl, place the breadcrumbs.
  4. Dip each chicken tender first in the flour mixture, then in the eggs, and finally in the breadcrumbs, ensuring they are well coated.
  5. Heat oil in a frying pan over medium heat until hot but not smoking.
  6. Fry the chicken tenders for about 3-4 minutes on each side, or until golden brown and cooked through (internal temperature should reach 165°F).
  7. Remove and place on paper towels to drain excess oil.
  8. Serve hot with your choice of dipping sauce.

Notes

For an extra crunchy texture, consider mixing some cornmeal into the breadcrumb mixture.
