Description

A delicious salmon fillet topped with a crispy Parmesan and breadcrumb crust, baked to perfection for a quick and elegant meal.


Ingredients

  • 4 salmon fillets (about 6 oz / 170 g each)
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese (about 100 g)
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs (about 110 g) — plain or panko for extra crunch
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon dried parsley
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Lemon wedges for serving

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a bowl, mix the Parmesan cheese, breadcrumbs, garlic powder, dried parsley, salt, and pepper.
  3. Brush the salmon fillets with olive oil on both sides.
  4. Press the breadcrumb mixture onto the top of each salmon fillet.
  5. Place the salmon on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  6. Bake for 12–15 minutes, or until the salmon flakes easily with a fork and the crust is golden brown.
  7. Serve with lemon wedges.

Notes

For extra flavor, add lemon zest to the breadcrumb mixture. Store cooked salmon in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3–4 days.
