  • 1 can (21 oz) cherry pie filling
  • 1 cup chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. Spray the inside of the crockpot with non-stick cooking spray.
  2. In a large bowl, combine the chocolate cake mix and water, stirring until well incorporated.
  3. Pour the cherry pie filling into the bottom of the crockpot.
  4. Gently pour the chocolate batter over the cherry layer.
  5. Evenly sprinkle chocolate chips on top of the cake batter.
  6. Cover and cook on low for about 4 hours, or until the cake is set.
  7. Once cooked, let it cool for a few minutes before serving.
  8. Serve warm, topped with whipped cream and garnished with chocolate shavings or a dusting of cocoa powder.
