Description
A nostalgic fizzy treat combining lemon-lime soda, grenadine, and vanilla ice cream, perfect for gatherings and parties.
Ingredients

- 2 scoops vanilla ice cream (approx. 1 cup total, about 130–140 g)
- 1 cup lemon-lime soda (240 ml), chilled
- 1 tablespoon grenadine (15 ml)
- 2 maraschino cherries, for garnish
Instructions
- Pop your glasses in the freezer for 10 minutes to chill.
- Place 2 scoops of vanilla ice cream into each chilled glass.
- Pour 1 cup of lemon-lime soda gently into each glass over the ice cream — pour down the side to preserve fizz.
- Drizzle 1 tablespoon of grenadine over each float so it sinks and creates a ruby swirl.
- Garnish each with 2 maraschino cherries.
- Serve immediately with a long spoon and straw. Enjoy!
Notes
For a boozy version, add 1–1.5 ounces vodka or cherry liqueur per glass. Keep in mind the high sugar content and enjoy as an occasional treat.
