  • 1 egg beaten with 1 tablespoon water (egg wash)
  • Optional: mini marshmallows or a small candy for tail
  • Optional: shredded cheese, ham slices, or pesto for savory versions
  • Optional: 1 tablespoon melted butter and 1 teaspoon sugar/cinnamon for sweet glaze
  • Vegan substitute: plant-based crescent dough and aquafaba (3 tbsp) for egg wash
  • Gluten-free substitution: gluten-free crescent or puff pastry

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and position a rack in the center.
  2. Lightly grease a baking sheet with cooking spray or dust with flour.
  3. Roll out the crescent roll dough and separate into 8 triangles.
  4. Shape each triangle into a bunny by rolling from the wider base, leaving a small tail, and forming ears.
  5. Place bunnies on the baking sheet, spacing apart, and press chocolate chips or raisins into each for eyes.
  6. Brush each bunny with the egg wash.
  7. Bake for 12–15 minutes until golden brown, checking at 10–12 minutes.
  8. Let cool slightly before serving.
