Ingredients

- 2 cups (about 240 g) all-purpose flour
- 1/4 cup (about 50 g) packed brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1/2 cup (120 ml) heavy cream
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/4 teaspoon fine salt
- Butter or neutral oil for cooking (about 1 tablespoon total)
Instructions
- In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, brown sugar, cinnamon, baking powder, and salt until evenly combined.
- Gradually add the cream and mix until a shaggy dough forms. Adjust the cream for dryness or stickiness as needed.
- Turn the dough onto a lightly floured surface and knead gently for 1–2 minutes until smooth.
- Divide the dough into 8 equal pieces and roll each piece into a flat circle about 5–6 inches across and 1/8–1/4 inch thick.
- Heat a skillet over medium heat and add a little butter or oil.
- Cook each flatbread for about 2–3 minutes per side until puffed and golden brown.
- Serve warm and enjoy!
