Description
A delightful dish of succulent chicken breasts bathed in rich garlic butter, perfect for family dinners or quick weeknight meals.
Ingredients
Scale
- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 4 tablespoons unsalted butter
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon dried rosemary
- 1 teaspoon dried thyme
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
- In a small saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the minced garlic, rosemary, thyme, salt, and pepper. Stir to combine and let simmer for about 1 minute until fragrant.
- Place the chicken breasts in a baking dish in a single layer, and pour the garlic butter mixture generously over the top, ensuring each piece is well coated.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until the chicken is cooked through and reaches an internal temperature of 165°F (75°C).
- Remove from the oven and let rest for a few minutes to allow the juices to redistribute.
- Garnish with chopped parsley before serving.
Notes
For extra flavor, consider marinating the chicken in buttermilk before baking. Adjust herbs based on preference.
