Description

A flavorful marinade for grilled chicken, perfect for summer gatherings and family dinners.


Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup olive oil
  • 1/4 cup vinegar (balsamic or apple cider)
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, whisk together the olive oil, vinegar, soy sauce, honey, minced garlic, dried oregano, salt, and pepper until well blended.
  2. Place the chicken in a resealable bag or shallow dish and pour the marinade over the chicken.
  3. Seal the bag or cover the dish and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes or, for best results, up to overnight.
  4. Preheat your grill to medium-high heat.
  5. Remove the chicken from the marinade and let excess marinade drip off.
  6. Grill the chicken for 6-8 minutes per side, or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (75°C).
  7. Remove from the grill and let it rest for a few minutes before serving.

Notes

For best flavor infusion, allow the chicken to marinate overnight.
