Description

A delightful and flavorful dish featuring ground turkey and vibrant bell peppers, perfect for busy weeknights or gatherings.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb ground turkey
  • 2 bell peppers (any color), sliced
  • 1 onion, diced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon chili powder
  • 1 teaspoon cumin
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Olive oil

Instructions

  1. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat.
  2. Add the diced onion and minced garlic, and sauté until softened, about 2-3 minutes.
  3. Add the ground turkey to the skillet and cook until browned, about 5-7 minutes.
  4. Stir in the sliced bell peppers, chili powder, cumin, salt, and pepper. Cook until the peppers are just tender, about 4-5 minutes.
  5. Serve over cooked rice, in lettuce wraps, or as a filling for taco shells.

Notes

For added flavor, you can incorporate fresh herbs, jalapeños, or cheese as optional toppings. Ensure the turkey reaches an internal temperature of 165°F (74°C) for safety.
