Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a cupcake tray with cupcake liners.
- Cream together the softened butter and sugar until light and fluffy (about 2–3 minutes).
- Add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition. Stir in the vanilla extract.
- In a separate bowl, combine the flour and baking powder, then gradually add to the creamed mixture, alternating with the milk until well combined.
- Fill each cupcake liner with the batter about 2/3 full and bake for 18–20 minutes or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
- Allow to cool completely on a wire rack.
- Once cooled, frost each cupcake with pastel-colored frosting and decorate with kawaii details to create Hello Kitty faces.
