A delightful sandwich combining gooey cheese and caramelized bananas for a perfect balance of sweet and savory.
Ingredients

- 2 slices of bread (your choice)
- 1 banana, sliced
- 2 slices of cheese (e.g., sharp cheddar or creamy mozzarella)
- 1–2 tablespoons of honey
- Butter for grilling
Instructions
- Spread butter on one side of each slice of bread.
- Heat a skillet over medium heat and place one slice of bread, buttered side down, into the pan.
- Layer one slice of cheese on the bread, followed by the slices of banana. Drizzle with honey.
- Tuck the second slice of cheese on top of the banana before covering it with the second slice of bread, buttered side up.
- Cook until the bottom slice is golden brown, about 3-4 minutes. Gently flip and cook the other side until the cheese is melting and the bread is golden.
- Remove from skillet, slice in half, and serve warm.
Notes
Serve with extra honey or butter; pairs beautifully with tea or coffee.
