Description

A delightful sandwich combining gooey cheese and caramelized bananas for a perfect balance of sweet and savory.


Ingredients

  • 2 slices of bread (your choice)
  • 1 banana, sliced
  • 2 slices of cheese (e.g., sharp cheddar or creamy mozzarella)
  • 12 tablespoons of honey
  • Butter for grilling

Instructions

  1. Spread butter on one side of each slice of bread.
  2. Heat a skillet over medium heat and place one slice of bread, buttered side down, into the pan.
  3. Layer one slice of cheese on the bread, followed by the slices of banana. Drizzle with honey.
  4. Tuck the second slice of cheese on top of the banana before covering it with the second slice of bread, buttered side up.
  5. Cook until the bottom slice is golden brown, about 3-4 minutes. Gently flip and cook the other side until the cheese is melting and the bread is golden.
  6. Remove from skillet, slice in half, and serve warm.

Serve with extra honey or butter; pairs beautifully with tea or coffee.
