Description

A warm, gooey marshmallow-filled toast sandwich that combines a crispy exterior with a soft, sweet center. Perfect for breakfast, snacks, or parties.


Ingredients

  • 4 slices thick-sliced bread
  • 1 ½ cups marshmallows (mini or chopped regular marshmallows)
  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 2 tablespoons maple syrup
  • Powdered sugar for dusting (optional)

Instructions

  1. Heat a non-stick skillet over medium-low heat.
  2. Assemble sandwiches: Top two slices of bread with marshmallows and cover with the remaining slices.
  3. Spread butter on the outsides of each sandwich.
  4. Toast sandwiches in the skillet for 2–3 minutes per side, pressing gently with a spatula.
  5. Remove sandwiches and let rest for 30 seconds before slicing.
  6. Drizzle with maple syrup and dust with powdered sugar before serving.

Notes

For a vegan version, use vegan butter and vegan marshmallows. If using large marshmallows, chop them for faster melting.
