- 4 medium apples, peeled and sliced
- 1 cup mascarpone cheese
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 cup rolled oats
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/2 teaspoon nutmeg
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1 egg
- Vanilla extract to taste
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9-inch springform pan.
- In a bowl, mix the sliced apples with cinnamon, nutmeg, and a couple of tablespoons of brown sugar. Set it aside to allow the flavors to meld.
- In another bowl, combine the flour, oats, brown sugar, granulated sugar, and salt. Pour in the melted butter and mix until crumbly. Reserve half for the topping.
- Add mascarpone cheese and egg to the remaining mixture, blending until smooth.
- Pour the mascarpone mixture into the prepared pan, spreading it evenly. Layer the spiced apples on top.
- Sprinkle the reserved crumble over the apples, ensuring an even distribution.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 35-40 minutes or until golden and set.
- Allow to cool slightly before serving. Enjoy every bite!

Serve warm with whipped cream or vanilla ice cream. Store in an airtight container for up to 3 days at room temperature or 1 week in the refrigerator.
