A decadent twist on a classic dessert that combines the rich flavors of pecan pie with creamy layers, perfect for gatherings.


Ingredients

  • 1 package of lasagna noodles
  • 2 cups of pecans, chopped
  • 1 cup of brown sugar
  • 1 cup of granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup of butter, melted
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract
  • 1 teaspoon of corn syrup
  • 1 package of cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup of powdered sugar
  • 1 cup of whipped topping
  • 1/2 cup of milk

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Prepare the lasagna noodles as per package instructions until al dente, then drain and set aside.
  3. In a large bowl, combine the chopped pecans, brown sugar, granulated sugar, melted butter, eggs, vanilla extract, and corn syrup. Mix until well blended but be careful not to overmix.
  4. In another bowl, beat the softened cream cheese with the powdered sugar until smooth. Gently fold in the whipped topping and milk until fully combined.
  5. In a greased baking dish, start layering: begin with a layer of lasagna noodles, followed by the pecan mixture, then the cream cheese mixture. Repeat layers, finishing with a layer of the cream cheese mixture on top.
  6. Place in the preheated oven and bake for 30-35 minutes or until the center is set. Check for doneness by shaking the pan; if there’s little to no movement in the center, it’s ready.
  7. Allow the lasagna to cool before slicing and serving.

Notes

Serve warm with whipped cream or caramel sauce for an extra treat. Store in an airtight container.
