Description
A decadent twist on a classic dessert that combines the rich flavors of pecan pie with creamy layers, perfect for gatherings.
Ingredients
Scale
- 1 package of lasagna noodles
- 2 cups of pecans, chopped
- 1 cup of brown sugar
- 1 cup of granulated sugar
- 1/2 cup of butter, melted
- 4 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract
- 1 teaspoon of corn syrup
- 1 package of cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup of powdered sugar
- 1 cup of whipped topping
- 1/2 cup of milk
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Prepare the lasagna noodles as per package instructions until al dente, then drain and set aside.
- In a large bowl, combine the chopped pecans, brown sugar, granulated sugar, melted butter, eggs, vanilla extract, and corn syrup. Mix until well blended but be careful not to overmix.
- In another bowl, beat the softened cream cheese with the powdered sugar until smooth. Gently fold in the whipped topping and milk until fully combined.
- In a greased baking dish, start layering: begin with a layer of lasagna noodles, followed by the pecan mixture, then the cream cheese mixture. Repeat layers, finishing with a layer of the cream cheese mixture on top.
- Place in the preheated oven and bake for 30-35 minutes or until the center is set. Check for doneness by shaking the pan; if there’s little to no movement in the center, it’s ready.
- Allow the lasagna to cool before slicing and serving.
