Ingredients

Instructions

  1. Spread 1 tablespoon of pesto on one side of each slice of bread.
  2. On the non-pesto side of one slice, place a slice of cheese.
  3. Top with the second slice of bread, pesto side down.
  4. Heat a skillet over medium heat and add a pat of butter.
  5. Grill the sandwich for 3-4 minutes on each side, or until the bread is golden brown and the cheese is melted.
  6. Remove from heat, slice diagonally, and serve warm.

Keep the heat medium to avoid burning the bread before the cheese melts. Press gently with a spatula for a crispier texture.
