- 1 box red velvet cake mix
- 1/2 cup vegetable oil
- 2 large eggs
- 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup chocolate chips
- 1/2 cup brownie mix
- 1/4 cup water
- 1–2 teaspoons vanilla extract
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×13 inch baking pan.
- In a large bowl, combine the red velvet cake mix, vegetable oil, and eggs. Mix until well blended. Add in the flour and chocolate chips until just combined.
- In a separate bowl, prepare the brownie mix according to the package instructions by mixing in the water and vanilla extract.
- Spoon the red velvet mixture into the greased baking pan first, spreading it evenly. Dollop the brownie mixture on top.
- Gently swirl the two batters together with a knife to create a marbled effect.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
- Allow to cool in the pan for a bit, then slice into squares and enjoy!
