- 4 slices of bread (your choice)
- 2 tablespoons butter, softened
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/2 cup cream cheese, softened
- 3–4 roasted jalapeños, chopped
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat a skillet over medium heat.
- In a bowl, mix the softened cream cheese with chopped roasted jalapeños, salt, and pepper to taste.
- Butter one side of each slice of bread.
- On the unbuttered side of two slices, spread a layer of the cream cheese mixture. Top with shredded cheddar cheese.
- Place the other slices of bread on top, butter side facing out.
- Grill the sandwiches in the skillet until the bread is golden brown and the cheese is melted, flipping them once.
- Remove from heat, slice in half, and serve hot.
Notes
Use thick-cut bread like sourdough or Texas toast for best results. Experiment with adding spices like cumin or smoked paprika for extra flavor.
