Description

Indulge in luxury with this delicious Shrimp Crab Lasagna, featuring layers of seafood and creamy Alfredo sauce.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 12 sheets of lasagna noodles
  • 1 pound crab meat
  • 1 pound shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 2 cups ricotta cheese
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 4 cups Alfredo sauce
  • 1/2 teaspoon chili flakes
  • 2 sprigs parsley, finely chopped
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumb topping

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Boil the lasagna noodles according to package directions, then drain and set aside to cool.
  3. In a large pan, warm olive oil over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté for about a minute until fragrant.
  4. Add the shrimp to the pan; cook until they turn pink and opaque, about 3-4 minutes. Gently fold in the crab meat, salt, black pepper, and chili flakes, cooking for an additional 2-3 minutes, then remove from heat.
  5. In a mixing bowl, combine ricotta cheese, half the Parmesan, one cup of mozzarella, parsley, and heavy cream. Stir until smooth and fully blended.
  6. Grease a 9×13 inch baking pan with Alfredo sauce to prevent sticking.
  7. Begin layering: Start with a layer of noodles, then spread a portion of the cheese mixture over them, followed by the seafood mixture and a drizzle of Alfredo sauce. Repeat the layers until you have three completed, ending with noodles and Alfredo sauce on top.
  8. Sprinkle the remaining Parmesan, mozzarella, and breadcrumbs over the top. Cover loosely with foil and bake for 25 minutes.
  9. Remove the foil and bake for an additional 10-15 minutes until the lasagna is bubbling and golden brown.
  10. Let rest for 10 minutes before serving. For a touch of elegance, garnish with chopped parsley.

Notes

Be careful not to overmix the ricotta mixture for a lovely texture. Adjust the cooking time based on your oven; check for doneness by ensuring it is bubbly and golden.
