Ingredients

  • 1 (3-4 lb) beef chuck roast
  • 1 packet ranch dressing mix
  • 1 packet Italian dressing mix
  • 1 packet brown gravy mix
  • 1 cup beef broth
  • 45 medium carrots, chopped
  • 45 potatoes, chopped
  • 1 onion, quartered

Instructions

  1. Place the beef roast in the slow cooker.
  2. In a separate bowl, mix together the ranch dressing mix, Italian dressing mix, and brown gravy mix with the beef broth.
  3. Pour the mixture over the roast in the slow cooker.
  4. Add the chopped carrots, potatoes, and quartered onion around the roast.
  5. Cover and cook on low for 8 hours or high for 4 hours, until the meat is tender.
  6. Serve with the vegetables and gravy, spooning some of the rich sauce over each portion.
