- 1 (3-4 lb) beef chuck roast
- 1 packet ranch dressing mix
- 1 packet Italian dressing mix
- 1 packet brown gravy mix
- 1 cup beef broth
- 4–5 medium carrots, chopped
- 4–5 potatoes, chopped
- 1 onion, quartered
Instructions
- Place the beef roast in the slow cooker.
- In a separate bowl, mix together the ranch dressing mix, Italian dressing mix, and brown gravy mix with the beef broth.
- Pour the mixture over the roast in the slow cooker.
- Add the chopped carrots, potatoes, and quartered onion around the roast.
- Cover and cook on low for 8 hours or high for 4 hours, until the meat is tender.
- Serve with the vegetables and gravy, spooning some of the rich sauce over each portion.
Notes
For added flavor, consider using fresh herbs like rosemary or thyme. Substitute beef with a plant-based roast for a vegan version.
