Description

Creamy and flavorful spinach and ricotta stuffed jumbo shells baked in marinara sauce, perfect for gatherings and comfort food lovers.


Ingredients

  • 12 jumbo pasta shells
  • 1 cup ricotta cheese
  • 1 cup fresh spinach, chopped
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 cup marinara sauce
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1 egg
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Olive oil (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Cook the jumbo pasta shells according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  3. In a bowl, combine ricotta cheese, chopped spinach, Parmesan cheese, egg, salt, and pepper. Mix until well combined.
  4. Stuff each pasta shell with the ricotta mixture.
  5. Spread half of the marinara sauce on the bottom of a baking dish. Arrange the stuffed shells in the dish, seam side up.
  6. Pour the remaining marinara sauce over the shells and sprinkle with mozzarella cheese.
  7. Cover with foil and bake for 20 minutes.
  8. Remove foil and bake for an additional 10 minutes, or until cheese is bubbly and slightly golden.
  9. Let cool for a few minutes before serving.
