Description

A refreshing and vibrant watermelon punch with soju, perfect for summer gatherings and celebrations.


Ingredients

  • 1 medium seedless watermelon (about 812 pounds), scooped into balls or cubed
  • 1 bottle (350–375 ml) soju
  • 2 cups lemon-lime soda (chilled)
  • 2 tablespoons sweetened condensed milk (optional)
  • 1 lemon, sliced
  • A handful of fresh mint leaves
  • 12 cups ice cubes

Instructions

  1. Chill all liquid ingredients and the watermelon in the refrigerator for at least 1 hour before assembling.
  2. Scoop watermelon into balls or cube it and place it into a large serving bowl or hollowed watermelon shell.
  3. Add lemon slices and mint leaves to the bowl, tucking them among the watermelon.
  4. Pour in the soju and stir gently to combine.
  5. Add the lemon-lime soda and the sweetened condensed milk (if using), stirring gently.
  6. Add ice cubes just before serving.
  7. Ladle into individual cups and garnish as desired.

Notes

For a lighter punch, omit sweetened condensed milk. If using a hollowed watermelon, ensure a flat base for stability.
